Suggested donation: $5 - $20 per workshop. Please bring your instrument!

In partnership with the Western Front and our donors and sponsors, the NOW Society offers this workshop series each fall to musicians of all ability levels in the varied techniques of improvised music. For the first eight weeks, artists from Vancouver and from around the world bring their own unique perspectives to spontaneous music creation. The last two weeks consist of a rehearsal and a performance at the Western Front on November 30 at 8pm. 

To register for the workshops, please email now@nowsociety.org. Registration is for the entire series of workshops. Each workshop is limited to 15 participants. To participate in NOW workshops, please become a NOW member (here). NOW members receive $5 off all NOW concerts!. 

All workshops are open to observers. Please email the address above if you would like to observe.
