2017 is the NOW Society's 40th year!

The New Orchestra Workshop (NOW) Society commemorates their 40th year with performances of new works in a four-day interactive archival installation, placing the Society as one of Canada's most significant improvisatory creative music collectives. The installation will feature four decades of photos, scores, and posters, notably four mounted with transducers, so that listening closely, you will hear the music from the concert or recording! The video booth will continuously play video from NOW Society events, including the NOW Orchestra performances with Butch Morris (June 98) and Barry Guy (December 99).
